DESCRIPTION:** We are saddened to cancel our Slush Cup this year due to conditions. Those who have already registered will be issued refunds.** \n  \nGo full send and try to waterski / ride across our huge man-made pond! Not up for participating? Don’t worry\, this is one of the best spectating events of the season! Our annual Slush Cup event is not one you’re going to want to miss and takes place at the bottom of Whiskey Jack\, within the base area. This event will take place on Saturday\, March 28! \nRegistration\n\nThere is a pre-registration fee of $15 if registered via online sign-up prior to\, and a $20 registration fee day-of (if spots remain).\n\nSchedule of Events\n\n8:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Registration and bib pick-up / check-in\n1:30 PM – Event start / runs begin\n3:00 PM – Last run. Any participant not having arrived at the start ramp by this time will forfeit the ability to ski / ride the pit\n3:45 PM – Awards (ATCO Community Stage)\n\nRules \n\nEach participant will receive one (1) run through the slush cup course. Additional runs are not permitted.\nAll participants will be issued a bib with their participant number. Those arriving at the course without their bib will be deemed ineligible to participate.\nLocation of the starting ramp will be determined by Castle Mountain Resort officials.\nAll participants must wear a helmet – absolutely no exceptions will be made.\nParticipants may not leave the starting gate without permission from the starter.\nNo inverted aerial maneuvers / jumps.\nAbsolutely no nudity. Costumes deemed inappropriate will result in disqualification.\nAny guests deemed to be under the influence of drugs / alcohol will be disqualified and are unable to participate\nA maximum of 100 participants will be accepted on a first-come\, first-serve basis.\nDress to get wet! All participants are encouraged to bring a towel / change of clothing.\nParticipants will be required to sign a waiver\, during the mandatory registration / check-in period in Guest Services – no waiver\, no runs\, no exceptions. Participants\, under the age of 18\, will be required to have a legal parent or guardian sign a waiver on their behalf.\n\nJudging\nOur panel of Slush Cup judges will select our 2025 champions in three categories: Best Splash\, Best Form\, & Best Costume.

DESCRIPTION:Our sixth annual “Fistful of Turns” banked slalom event returns! This crowd favourite event will take place on Saturday\, March 14. This event will once again be a 2-run\, best single time event for snowboarders only through a tricky\, twisty\, and turny course\, down Dawn. \nREGISTRATION / COST\n\nRegistration cost is $20 for athletes 17 years of age and under or $35 for athletes 18 years of age or older.\nParticipants are urged to sign-up online\, in advance of the event as spots are limited and are expected to sell out. DESCRIPTION:Our annual torchlight parade is back! Taking place Saturday\, February 7th\, the torchlight parade is a way to honour and celebrate the lives of our friends and Castle lovers that have passed away. \nThe torchlight parade involves taking a short ride up the lower portion of the T-Rex T-Bar (don’t forget a headlamp / flashlight) and then skiing down Whiskey Jack by the light of a flare. Guests are asked to arrive / meet at CMR’s Snow School desk no later than 6:30 PM. Loading on the T-Rex t-bar will take place starting at 6:45 PM with the parade to take place just after 7 PM. \nOnline registration is available at the link above. Last minute spots\, should they remain available\, will be available between 5 PM and 6 PM in our Snow School.  \nNOTE: A waiver must be completed by all participants\, or by a legal parent or guardian\, in the event that a participant is under the age of 18. Participant waivers will be sent via email\, immediately after your online purchase is complete. Guests without a completed waiver will NOT be able to participate.  \n

SUMMARY:OPENING WEEKEND FOOD BANK FUNDRAISER
DESCRIPTION:Ski or ride with us opening weekend and help us give back to those less fortunate\, in our area. For every visit over our opening weekend\, December 5 – 7\, Castle Mountain Resort will donate $1 to local food banks within our area\, to a maximum of $2500. Our friends at Co-op Pincher Creek have also agreed to match to our donation\, helping to amplify our impact! \nDonations will be split 50/50 between the Crowsnest Pass Food Bank and the Pincher Creek Food Bank. It doesn’t matter if you’re a season pass holder\, WOW Card holder\, or a ticket purchaser\, it all counts so come on out! \nGuests are encouraged to bring non-perishable goods to further amplify our impact. Any donated items will be forwarded onto the agencies above and can be dropped off at CMR Guest Services. \n
